Dr. Vonder Haar spoke at the ICRG annual Conference on Gambling and Addiction and at the UC-Davis conference Building Bridges in Traumatic Brain Injury Research.

Dr. Smith will be starting his own lab at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in Fall 2025 as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. Best of luck to him at his new university!

In May 2025, Dr. Vonder Haar received a promotion to Associate Professor and was awarded tenure.

The Society for Neuroscience, Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience, and Pavlovian Society conferences were held in September-October 2024.

The project is titled “Integrative analysis of behavioral and neural data for decision-making via multi-modal learning”.

The $50k grant is titled “Inflammation-Induced Impulsivity:  Prevention via Anti-inflammatory Interventions”. Collaborators include Dr. Barrientos, Dr. Vodovotz, and Dr. Vonder Haar.

Dr. Vonder Haar will be Treasurer-Elect in 2024 and Treasurer in 2025.

The National Neurotrauma Symposium was held in San Francisco, June 2024.
