The Injury and Recovery Laboratory is located in the Department of Neuroscience at the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. We are interested in suboptimal behaviors that occur due to brain injuries and other conditions.

The goals for our research are to 1) improve animal models of psychiatric dysfunction, 2) understand the physiology that contributes to psychiatric-related symptoms, and 3) develop treatments.

Lab News

The Injury and Recovery Lab is primarily interested in behavioral dysfunction and the development of therapeutics to treat chronic deficits

Our lab studies behavioral and neural processes in rats. We use these animal models to develop treatments for conditions like traumatic brain injury.
